WHERE MOVEMENT MEETS MUSIC
Giuliana Velez is a Houston-based DJ, movement artist, and cultural connector whose sound is rooted in the same rhythm-driven curiosity that shaped her dance career. Introduced to a wide spectrum of music at a young age- and trained across multiple dance styles. Giuliana developed an intuitive ear long before she ever touched turntables. Dance taught her how to hear what comes next, how to read a room, and how to shape energy with precision. DJing became the natural extension of that instinct.
Since stepping behind the decks in 2023, Giuliana has built a dynamic, multi-genre approach that reflects both her upbringing and her artistry. Her sets move fluidly through pop, oldies, house, hip-hop, latin rhythms, and everything in between- blending styles the same way she blends movement vocabularies. As a proud Houston native and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, she pulls inspiration from the cultural mosaic around her and the many communities she belongs to. On any dance floor, she aims to spark joy, amplify culture, and build soundscapes that invite people to move.
